Mini-Roundabouts

Mini-Roundabouts are often used as a means of slowing traffic down, or as a traffic calming measure.
The rules:
- Give Way to vehicles on your right.
- Give way to vehicles coming towards you, who are signalling right.
- Where possible, avoid driving on the central roundabout marking.

Common problems
Sometimes drivers will look the wrong way. If they have not seen you, they may pull out into your path. As with all junctions, glance to see where other drivers are looking.
Oncoming vehicles may signal late to turn right, or they may not signal at all!
The view may NOT be good to your right. Ask: Is it an open junction or a closed junction? If it is closed, use gear 1, and roll up to get a better look.
Large vehicles may need to cut across the island. Leave plenty of space for trucks, buses, articulated vehicles.
